Khory Hancock grew up on a 30 000-acre cattle property, located on the side of Carnarvon Gorge National Park north of Roma, Queensland. Growing up in this remote and ecologically diverse area gave him an opportunity to develop a genuine, lifelong interest in and passion for the environment and in particular nature-based regeneration methods. His love for land and ocean regeneration naturally led to his decision to pursue a full-time career in the environmental and carbon farming industry.

He believes that through education, good leadership, effective strategy and consistency that together, we can reduce our impact on the natural world while managing our economic and social values. Khory, on top of being an environmental professional is also a well known public speaker/MC, presenter and social media influencer.

He is a 12-year industry professional in environment and regenerative practises with an excellent understanding of safety, quality and environmental management systems; specifically focusing on carbon abatement accrual in land management and restorative practises, climate change solution strategies, water and waste management, greenhouse gas reporting and environmental data collection/reporting and auditing.

Experienced in providing leadership and project management skills in various industries including the resources sector (mining and gas), infrastructure and transport, construction and carbon farming. Qualified lead auditor, Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia professional (ISCA), Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC), Land Restoration Fund Advisor and Accredited Carbon Farming Advisor (QRIDA).
